How to empower your child to achieve self-confidence and inner strength!

parent family health education children adhd SleepTalkContained in this book are secrets so simple it’s a tragedy that everyone doesn’t know them, and so powerful that it’s not outlandish to describe the results as miracles.  If you could whisper in your child’s ear, ‘Your life will be wonderful and happy’ and make it happen, wouldn’t you call it a miracle?

The information found in this book is for every parent who wants their children to reach their potential – whatever that potential may be.  It is for children with difficulties and for children with none.

What do parents really want for their children?  Whether it’s career success, financial security, good health, a stable marriage or any other desirable asset, nothing is really possible without good self-esteem, a positive attitude and experience and acceptance of love.

Do you know the power of words?  In the day-to-day business of being a parent, trying to establish guidelines and encourage appropriate behaviour, we often say things which, on the face of it, seem quite harmless.  For instance, we may say, ‘You’re such a little terror!’, as we grab our child for a hug.    We know wspan>SleepTalkTM

Cheetham Consulting Group:

Our organisation was commissioned by Joane Goulding, founder of S for Children to conduct research into the outcomes and effectiveness of their product SleepTalkTM .  Over a period of some months we studied the history and development of  SleepTalkTM, collcted data on the progress of children involved in it, and received ongoing feedback from parents by way of a self-administered questionnaire.

The results – Our own empirical study into the effectiveness of SleepTalkTM has brought about promising initial results.  The vast majority of parents have observed noticable changes in their children after relatively short periods of time.

Finally, the parents themselves have also been motivated to provide anectodotal evidence as to the benefits of SleepTalkTM.  SleepTalkTM seems to be an extremely simple and effective process, which has been seen by parents to benefit many children in their everday lives and will hopefully continue to do so.

Building Strong Foundations for Future Young Australians

A radical solution to youth’s depression, unemployment, homelessness, alcohol, drugs, prostitution and suicide.

Imagine a whole generation of children who have instilled in them since birth the certain knowledge that:

·        they are loved and lovable

·        they are valuable and valued

·        they have within them all of the positive strength they will ever need to succeed

·        and who wake every day of their lives knowing that “today will be a happy day” regardless of what that day may bring.

Joane Goulding originally developed this powerful tool in response to the needs of her own daughter Michelle, who was born with an intellectual and physical disability and who Joane was advised by the “experts” to leave in Kew Cottages and forget about her.

Joane’s own love and devotion to her daughter were so strong and her belief in the power of the mind so firm, that she set about finding a way to allow Michelle to enjoy the most happy and positive life possible.

Michelle is now 39 years of age, she still has an IQ of approximately 45, how ever she has been happily married for over 16 years, owns her own home and attends the local Taff.   She manages her own home and she and her husband take regular holidays interstate and overseas from their hard earned savings.

Her motto for life is “It’s a happy day and I always do my very best.”

Joane’s philosophy is   Children are our future, and as parents we need to recognise this with a sense of urgency. If we are to take care of the future, our children’s future, we need to take care of the ‘now’. Remember it’s not what we leave to our children that matters, it’s what we leave within their minds.

The process that Joane developed for Michelle has been taught, refined and improved over years.  She has now put it into a book form to make it available and accessible to parents everywhere.

The process is simple yet powerful and requires only a few minutes a day from the parents for as few as six months.  In this short time a positive and permanent self-image and strong sense of self-confidence can be created in children as soon as they are able to understand language, to as old as fourteen or fifteen years.
